Students & educators are welcome to participate free of charge. The AeroTest America 2008 Expo & Forum (www.aerotestamerica.com), to be held November 18-20 at the Fort Worth Convention Center, offers a unique opportunity for students to explore careers in aerospace related technology professions.

AEROSPACE ENGINEERING - AN OVERVIEW
Dr Atilla Dogan, Assistant Professor
University of Texas at Arlington (UTA)

This presentation will give an overview of general aerospace engineering and related education and research at UTA. Particularly, it will present undergraduate and graduate research within the multidisciplinary framework of Autonomous Vehicles Laboratory (AVL). Dr. Atilla Dogan is assistant professor of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at UTA and co-director of the AV. He received his Ph.D. from Aerospace Engineering Department of the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 2000. In 2000-2002, he worked for Ford Motor Company in the Department of Transmission Electronics. He was a summer faculty research fellow at the Air Force Research Lab in Wright-Patterson AFB in 2007 & 2008.

The career fair will provide an opportunity for one-to-one discussions with industry employers, as well as a rare opportunity for students to ask candid questions concerning future career options in this exciting industry. Students at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral candidate levels are welcome to distribute their resumes to employers during this segment.
